BURGESS, William Wellington
Passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. Born on January 18, 1932. Predeceased by his wife Mary Lu, his son Robert, parents Thomas and Marion (nee Wellington), his sister Joan Westgate, and brother Tim Burgess. Always to be remembered by his son Wayne (Janice) and daughter in law Janet, his grandchildren Josh, Kim, Dylan; his great grandchildren Nick, Hunter, Grace, Daniel, Autumn, and Ariella. Also many nieces, nephews and extended family members. William enjoyed bridge and horse races, and was an avid union worker/supporter at Polysar for 35 years.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #62,286 Front Street North, Sarnia, on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 1:00 pm –4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
