All the animals in the spirit world made quite a ruckus on Friday, July 25, 2025, as Lu (Louise Anne Fortey) Perry, our Gypsy queen, returned home behind the veil. Lu is on her next great adventure and she didn’t even need to pack this time, but she sure returned to her eternal home full of treasures! Lu lived a life full of wild adventures like scenes from a movie. As she flowed from one place to the next, she made deep and lasting connections with people from all around the globe. Although Lu was never in one place for long, she always blew in the door just when you needed her the most, like any good fairy godmother would do. Her senses were always tuned to the people and animals she loved and cared about. Lu had a magical way of always being in the right place at the right time. So when you stumble upon a crystal, a butterfly or a magical item at just the right time, know in your heart that Lu is sharing her treasures with you even from heaven. On your next adventure, when you get a hunch to follow a certain direction, you can be sure the Gypsy Queen herself and Tiki are paying you a visit. Resting in peace is not on Lu’s agenda, she’s having even more fun now! Auntie Lu may your wild Gypsy soul live on forever in all of us.
