Throughout his life, Gord role modelled healthy eating and daily exercise, and was always up to date on world issues listening to CBC and reading several daily newspapers. He enjoyed travelling with his family, tai chi, bonsai gardening and woodworking. He was a volunteer canvasser for many charities.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A private family interment at Lakeview Cemetery will take place at a later date.

Our family would like to thank Dr. Louzada, Dr. Sullivan, Dr. Yoshida and their oncology teams, for their excellent care. Also thanks to our family physician, Dr. Cassandra Taylor and her nurse Nancy, for their support. Thank you also, to Dr. Crombeen and her palliative care team, as well as Stacie, Gord's long-time nurse.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society, or charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
