McGUGAN,George

Passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health in Sarnia on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of Bonnie Barrett. Loving father of Lesley Moore (Tim), Scott McGugan and Lindsey Auffret (Nicholas).  Grandfather of Emma, Ewan, Ava, and Lyla.

George will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, including his extended family in Scotland. He had a passion for football (soccer) and golf, and was a devoted Maple Leafs fan. He especially enjoyed watching his grand daughters play hockey—no matter which team they cheered for. George was happiest when he was on an adventure with Bonnie, creating memories together. Gifted with the art of conversation, he had a story for every occasion and always found a willing listener.

Cremation has taken place.
