Norma was predeceased by her mother Kathleen Smith, father Frank Routley and her beloved son John Bottomley (2022). She is survived by her daughter Sharon Bottomley and son Peter Bottomley (Kim) and daughter in law Susan. She is survived by 9 grandchildren: Lisa, Amy, John Michel, Hannah, Connor, Jessica, Meghan, Richard and Jennifer. Also, great grandchildren she would have loved to knit, crochet and generally spoil had she been able.
Norma was a tireless volunteer throughout her life and touched many on her journey. She was a loyal and protective parent and friend, strong, independent, talented, smart and whimsical.
The family would like to thank Fiddick's for the care provided Norma during her final chapter and to her roommate Ruth for being her best friend and ally.
Cremation has taken place and a Remembrance Dinner at Swiss Chalet (her favorite place to meet and eat with family and friends) will be held at a later date.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
