SHEARON, May Iona (Ona)(nee Cairns)

September 8, 1956 – October 12, 2025

Iona will be dearly missed by her partner and soul mate Philip McGrenra, her loving and devoted son David and daughter in law Shannon, and grandson Jaxon who loved his Nanny O.   Loved step mother of Siobhan, Amanda (Jeremy) and their son Kaiden.  She is predeceased by her son Steven Shearon and her parents John and Geraldine Cairns. Survived by her brother Billy (Kym Cairns); her sister Ingrid Hall and brother in law Raymond Hall; her nephews Andrew, Trevor, Garth, and her niece Robyn.   Iona’s joy was her garden where she spent all her time caring for her beautiful flowers.‍

May the sun shine warm upon your face,

Until we meet again.

 The family would like to thank nurse Bernie, Dr. Kim and the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Iona.
